The brake rotors must be inspected and replaced immediately if they become under-spec in thickness, develop deep scoring (grooves), or warp due to overheating (which causes steering wheel or pedal judder/vibration during braking).

As a general guideline, we recommend inspecting the brake rotors at 80,000 kilometers or whenever you are replacing your second set of brake pads.
